Therapeutic Thai and Fly

Acroyoga is a blend of three interconnecting practices:
Acrobatics – to train strength, endurance and alignment
Yoga – for flexibility of mind and body
Therapeutic flying and Thai Massage – to manage our recovery and integration process.

With the balance of activation and release exercises, acroyoga is a holistic system which takes care of the whole body.

In the lunar therapeutic practices we connect with our ability to heal.

Therapeutic flying is a partner balancing practice where the flyer – who is suspended in the air – remains passive and is moved by the base, thru a sequence of mobilisation “yoga like ” postures” while also receiving elements of Thai massage – traction, harmonics and palming.

Thai massage, performed with the receiver lying down on the ground, again utilises yoga-like assisted stretches to free the body from tension and increase the circulation of all bodily processes.
Many people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work!
It is in opportunity to receive the sensations of the movement without the effort of creating them, enhancing body / breath awareness.

Muscle compression, joint mobilization, acupressure are also used during this practice.

Together, these complementary practices bring about body awareness and the releasing of tension and anxiety.

They re enforce the idea that we are able to heal more easily with the support of others, than on our own.
